Tara is also a classically trained soprano who has performed with the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, with the American Baroque Orchestra, with New Trinity Baroque Orchestra, at the Closing Ceremony of the 2010 Commonwealth Games, and as recording artist for Walt Disney. She has given concerts for diplomats and dignitaries around the world including the Dalai Lama, the President of Austria, the Prime Minister of India, the President of the EU Commission, and at the House of Lords. 

Tara performs regularly at international music festivals such as the Belgrade Baroque Festival, the International Handel Festival of Karlsruhe, and Singapore Live!, the first south-east Asian classical music symposium. She has received extensive media coverage from international outlets, such as CNN and Channel News Asia, as well as national outlets in India, Singapore, Austria, and the United Kingdom. 

Tara has won numerous awards including 1st Prize in the 12th Citta di Massa Competition, 3rd Prize in the 2023 Clara Schumann Competition, and the Platinum Prize in the Baroque Category of the London Young Musician Awards. She was nominated as Best New Performer in an Opera Production for the 2023 Offies, the Off West-End Awards.  

As a high school student, she was selected as the soloist for the Global Children’s Peace Choir, an ensemble formed by Gerald Wirth (former artistic director of the Vienna Boys Choir) and Ravi Shankar. She was also one of 10 Young Artists at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Singapore. Recently, she completed an M.Mus in Voice at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama as a Sir Howard Stringer scholar.
